What you'll do
Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies aimed at boosting sales within the soft furnishings industry.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with essential stakeholders, such as interior designers, contractors, and suppliers.
Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to expand our reach and influence.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, ensuring our offerings remain competitive.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing our products and services effectively.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network, promote our brand, and gather insights on market developments.

Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales, particularly within the soft furnishings or related industries.
A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.




Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport with diverse clients.
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
Familiarity with the soft furnishings market, including knowledge of products and trends.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.

Experience in specification sales, particularly with design and build contractors.
