About The Prospect
The primary purpose of this position is to manufacture high-quality stainless steel stormwater components while maintaining exceptional workmanship, safety standards, and production efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
Fabricating structural stormwater treatment and filtration components
Reading and interpreting shop drawings and fabrication specifications
Performing MIG and TIG welding of stainless steel products
Operating CNC guillotines, brake presses, and fabrication machinery
Maintaining high standards of quality control and workmanship
Working safely in accordance with company WHS procedures
Assisting with workshop production schedules and deadlines
Travelling to regional project sites when required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Trade qualification as a Fabricator or Boilermaker
Minimum 12 months' experience in stainless steel fabrication
Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
Experience operating CNC guillotines, brake presses, and fabrication equipment
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Flexible approach to overtime and occasional regional travel
