The business also operates a water drilling and pump installation division, creating additional opportunities for variety and travel across the Northern Territory.
Working closely with the owners, these positions would suit a couple looking to establish themselves within a growing operation and develop their careers over the long term.
The business is seeking practical, hands-on people who enjoy working as part of a small team and are willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
Commencement is available immediately or by negotiation.
Partner 1 - Leading Hand / Senior Station Hand Key Responsibilities & Duties: Assist with the day-to-day management and operation of the cattle enterprise.
Coordinate and participate in cattle handling, mustering, branding and livestock management activities.
Coordinate and participate in machinery, equipment and infrastructure maintenance programs.
Support station operations, supervise staff when required and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Selection Criteria:



Previous station experience and have leadership potential.
Robust livestock handling skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Sound machinery operation, maintenance and basic welding skills, including HR truck competency or licence.
Long-term career focus with the ability to supervise staff and adapt to a growing business.
Partner 2 - Station Hand / All-Rounder Key Responsibilities & Duties: Assist with cattle work, mustering and general station operations.
Carry out station maintenance and repairs across infrastructure and facilities.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Contribute practical trade, mechanical or maintenance skills across a variety of projects.
Selection Criteria: Previous station experience or a willingness to learn and develop livestock handling skills.
Practical hands-on abilities with the capacity to work autonomously and show initiative.
Experience or skills in mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, boilermaking or similar trades highly regarded.
Positive attitude, adaptability and willingness to undertake a diverse range of station tasks.
