About Us
Meeka Metals Limited (MEK) operates Western Australia's newest gold mine, and key to our success is securing experienced Shotfirers.
The Company operates its flagship Murchison Gold Project, 50km north of Meekatharra.
The project includes two underground gold mining operations with an initial 10-year mine life.
Site activities are ramping up with the scond underground portal scheduled for commencmenet in September ****.
About the Roles
Meeka operate an owner operator minesite with Access Mining as a partner in underground mining.
Together we are looking for charge up personal to manage and execute our development and production charging.
The role is offered on an 2:2 roster, FIFO from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
Charge development and stopes daily using ANFO kettles
Mentor and coach others who are working their way up
About You
Shotfirer ticket (WA)




Solid underground experience across mining activities
Valid C Western Australian Drivers Licence.
Valid National Police Clearance (< less than 6 months old).
Accommodation
You will be accommodated in a well-appointed mine village with a fully equipped gym, WIFI with streaming capacity, and full Telstra coverage.
Catering is provided by the Company's own catering and facilities management team with a budget that supports a wide variety of high-quality food options from our very own Chefs!
