About The Role
Thiess have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our brownfields hard-rock mining project.
This role will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and involves leading and mentoring the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Location: Central Pilbara region Roster: FIFO 8/6 from Perth
This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic project while ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and safety.
In this role, you will:
Lead, coach and develop team members by setting explicit expectations, monitoring performance and mentoring othersManage and execute maintenance work using efficient equipment servicing strategies to achieve targeted service times and schedule compliance ratesEnsure that work is completed within allowed budget and resourcesAssist the Maintenance Manager & Superintendents in implementing safety plansPlay an active role in all incident investigations, andDevelop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships
About you:
As the successful applicant, you will be a high achieving & team focused individual with a focus on a collaboration and achieving within your work team.




You have previous experience in open cut mining & a drive to deliver.Mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineeringExtensive post trade or relevant mobile maintenance experience in a mining environmentPrevious supervisory experienceHold a valid s26 qualification A strong commitment to health, safety, environment and the communityStrong written and oral communication skillsProven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoringThe ability to work in a high-pressure environmentKnowledge of relevant mining related legislation
