Location: Meningie, SA, **** Full-Time: Immediate start Reports to: Aged Care Facility Manager Job Title: Enrolled Nurse Salary range: $79,500 - $85,000 + Superannuation Job Closure date: 30 days Job Summary: Our client is a community-based not-for-profit home located in a small town of Meningie.
Their modern, 30 bed home has a lovely outlook over the town and Lake.
Our client is looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join the team focussed on ensuring an excellent quality of care to residents and by extension, their families.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of resident care under RN supervision.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility protocols.
Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting changes to the RN.
Assist with wound care, catheter management, and other clinical interventions.
Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Foster a person-centred approach, respecting residents' dignity and preferences.
Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life.
Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
Adhere to infection control, WHS, and aged care quality standards.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in care records.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.




Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (RNs, carers, allied health).
Participate in handovers, staff meetings, and training sessions.
Mentor and support less experienced care staff as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements: Essential:
Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
At least 1 year experience in aged care, dementia care, or a similar setting (preferred).
Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and chronic disease management.
Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care.
Current
First Aid & CPR certification.
National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening required.
Must comply with having annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19.
Desirable:
Experience with palliative care and complex health needs.
Knowledge of electronic health records (e.g., iCare, MHR).
