Due to continued growth, DTE Pacific is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Based at our Naval Base workshop, this role offers the security of a stable Monday to Friday (5:2) roster, with the opportunity to undertake ADHOC site work across the Pilbara and regional Western Australia, when required.
This is a hands-on role that offers a diverse range of work, from workshop-based fabrication, maintenance and equipment overhauls to onsite installations and maintenance projects.

The Role
You'll be involved in a variety of mechanical fitting and maintenance projects, including:
Fuel tank installation, maintenance, and repairs
Pumping equipment maintenance and overhauls
Workshop and plant fit outs
Tank and skid assembly
General mechanical maintenance and equipment repairs
Ad hoc shutdown and maintenance work for clients including Roy Hill, FMG and Rio Tinto operations
What's on Offer

Regular overtime available:
Monday to Thursday – 10-hour days
Friday – 8 hours
Saturday – OT available

About You
To be successful, you will have:
Working at Heights
Current National Police Clearance
Australian Driver's Licence
EWP High Risk Work Licence (highly regarded)
Current site inductions for FMG, Roy Hill and RTIO (highly advantageous)
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
