About the RoleAs a Cellar Hand, you will be involved in all aspects of winery operations, including:Transferring wine between tanks, barrels, tankers, and bottling facilities using pumps and hosesWeighing, measuring, and adding winemaking ingredients and additivesPreparing wine to specification for bottling and packagingCleaning and sanitising tanks, vessels, hoses, pumps, and winery equipmentOperating winery equipment including crossflow filters, centrifuges, presses, and other processing machinery during vintageAssisting with general cellar and winery duties as required
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:Has a positive attitude and strong work ethicEnjoys hands-on physical workWorks well as part of a teamIs committed to building a long-term career in the wine industryHas a strong focus on workplace safety and attention to detailPrevious winery experience is beneficial but not essential.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
