We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our growing team and help deliver consistently high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and present meals in line with our menu and quality standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentation of every dish.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a productive and positive working environment.
Maintain inventory, manage stock rotation, and place timely orders for kitchen supplies.
Ensure the kitchen meets all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Assist with seasonal menu development and introduce creative new dishes.
Monitor kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and quality control.
Minimise food wastage and maintain appropriate food cost targets.
Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations.




Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
Passion for creating high-quality food and memorable dining experiences.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Desirable
Experience with modern Australian cuisine, steaks, burgers, seafood, and grill.
Understanding of dietary requirements, allergies, and special dietary requests.
Experience with menu costing and stock management.
Australian work rights or eligibility to work in Australia.
