Your new role
Reporting to the Manager Governance and Risk, this role will be
responsible for a diverse range of duties within the Governance
team.
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and
effective individual who will provide high-level administrative
support services, ensuring compliance with the Town's governance
processes, including top-line customer service for elected members,
internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have robust interpersonal,
organisational and negotiation skills, high-level administrative
support experience,



and a knack for meeting deadlines and producing
high-quality work.
Our ideal candidate will have
Understanding of the Council meeting procedure and the role
of elected members.
Experience in preparing agendas and minutes.
Knowledge and experience in governance practices and
legislative compliance.
High level of written and verbal communication skills with
the ability to influence others.
Availability to attend evening Council meetings for
minute-taking.
