CENTRE FOR EMPLOYABILITY
The Centre for Employability (CFE) provides University-wide leadership in enhancing graduate employment outcomes through strong partnerships with Schools, Service Centres and external industry stakeholders.
The CFE oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of careers and employability programs, centrally coordinated work-based WIL (internships), employability curriculum support, a diverse portfolio of employability initiatives, and the University's short course services.
The Centre also leads the implementation and integration of key employability technologies and external partnerships, ensuring all ECU students benefit from meaningful employability development and uplift throughout their studies.
About the OpportunityYou will join a small but passionate team of individuals involved in helping match industry internship opportunities with students across ECU's schools.
In this role you will;
Liaise with Schools to identify,
establish and maintain ongoing relationships with industry hosts to support the needs of coursework internships and their contribution to course requirements.
Data entry and operational reporting across a range of systems and platforms, including Salesforce, Callista and Excel spreadsheets.
Answering email and phone queries in a timely and professional manner.
Supporting meetings and events relevant to the needs of the Internships Program Team and Centre for Employability, including room bookings, Try Booking events and calendar management.
Creating agendas, taking meeting notes and distributing to relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
Query relevant data sources to confirm stakeholder eligibility for internships, mandatory documentation, processes and any associated clearances.
Review and check documentation provided by relevant stakeholders (students/industry) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
