What You Bring to the Team
We are seeking a proactive and driven individual with 3–5+ years post-admission experience in resources law matters, bringing experience in some, if not all, of the following areas:
Mining Act **** (WA) (Mining Act) processes including Warden's Court objections, forfeitures, and plaints;
native title and heritage processes and negotiations;
project acquisitions, divestments, and joint venture arrangements; and
fundamentals of environmental law and the intersection of Mining Act approvals.
In addition to the outlined legal experience, you will also have:
A Master of Priorities: You possess exceptional project management and prioritisation skills, capable of managing multiple complex files with autonomy and confidence.
A Gifted Communicator: Your written and verbal communication skills are outstanding, allowing you to build rapport and convey complex legal advice clearly to everyone from boutique explorers to top-tier public companies, and support the development of your team members.
Commercially Astute: You have a keen interest in the commercial drivers of the resources industry and a natural curiosity for areas like contract and environmental law.
