About Us
Sandringham Ambulatory Care Centre (SACC) is a Not-for-profit (NFP) organisation that operates Urgent Care Clinics at Sandringham, Prahran and Frankston, alongside health pathways and a private medical practice. Embedded in the Bayside community, our Clinics are designed to reduce pressure on hospital Emergency Departments by managing a high volume of walk-in patients.
Our Medical Receptionists play a vital role in patient care and overall experience.
About the Role
If you thrive on personal contact and value the consistency of regular shifts over the unpredictability of agency placements, our Medical Reception role is an excellent opportunity. There are a number of available shifts over our 3 clinics.
SACC is seeking experienced, compassionate, and patient-focused Medical Receptionists to join our Urgent Care Clinics working at either Frankston, Prahran or Sandringham clinics. As a Medical Receptionist you will be a key point of contact for patients, supporting both administrative and clinical workflows. Your primary focus will be ensuring patients are accurately checked in, and directed appropriately, while delivering calm, qualified, and empathetic care.
Key Responsibilities




First point of contact for patients and families
Patient bookings, enquiries and data collection
Maintaining accurate documentation in the software package

About You
Prior experience working as a Medical Receptionist in a General Practice
Experience using software package
Best Practice
is preferred
Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills; calm under pressure
Patient-focused and adaptable
Requirements
Permanent Australian residency or a current valid working Visa
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
