About the Role
This is a hands-on nursing role where you'll have the opportunity to fully utilise your skills across all aspects of general practice nursing.
Position Details
Part time roleApproximately 19 hours per week min (ideally Wednesday & Fridays)2 x 9.5-hour shifts per weekYour responsibilities will include:




Assisting veterinarians during consultations and proceduresSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceAnaesthetic monitoring and patient recoveryPre-operative and post-operative patient careAdministering medications and treatmentsCollecting and processing pathology samplesDental procedures and radiography assistanceEmergency and critical care nursing when requiredMaintaining high standards of infection control and clinic cleanlinessMonitoring hospitalised patients and ensuring their comfort and wellbeingProviding exceptional client communication and educationSupporting reception and front-of-house duties when neededAssisting with stock management and day-to-day clinic operationsNo two days are ever the same, making this a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety and staying busy.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Certificate IV qualified in Veterinary NursingIdeally has 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, however we would also love to hear from confident recent graduates who are eager to learn and develop their skillsPassionate about animal care and patient advocacyOrganised, reliable, and accountableAble to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environmentA strong communicator with excellent customer service skillsConfident building rapport with clients and supporting them through their pet's healthcare journeyA positive team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative cultureMost importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team, brings a positive attitude to work each day,



and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.
