ASCO's core business is providing materials management and logistics services to the Oil & Gas industry.
In Western Australia we service our clients through the provision of Supply Base and associated materials management services & logistics services as well as both fixed and mobile camp services.
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic, highly motivated, experienced Material Logistics Coordinator resposible for managing our client's specific operations including planning, maintaining inventory and supplies, ensuring that products are stored and shipped out in an accurate and efficient manner.
This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations that meet client, regulatory and commercial expectations.
Based in Welshpool and reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solutions-focused mindset, and extensive experience in logistics, supply base operations with sound knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
What your role at ASCO will look like:
Manage client expectations and relationships.
Coordinate and oversee clients' specific warehouse logistics.
Receipt and despatch of materials and associated data entry requirements.
Assist with the investigations of all clients' specific service failures,



incidents and accidents in order to ensure a robust and auditable system of continual improvement.
Ensuring adherence to all relevant procedures, legislative requirements and industry standards.
Prepare for and attend client meetings.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and suggest improvements/changes to the process where required.
Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
Ensure inventory controls are in place and followed for storage, handling and security of inventory and warehouse equipment.
Contribute to efficient and effective operations.
Foster collaborative, productive relationships with own team members.
Exhibit own behaviour deliberately to model and reinforce ASCO's values, behaviours and culture.
What you can bring to ASCO:
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.
Accustomed to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities and emergency situations, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
Assertive, with solid communication, emotional intelligence and negotiation skills, both verbal and written,



and a fair consistent approach.
Strong attention to detail and excellent planning and organisational skills.
Motivated to achieve the highest standard of performance and customer support
Minimum Qualifications:
Industry experience in Oil and Gas, mining, renewables and / or 3PL logistics
First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
Forklift Licence
Competent in:
Permit to Work
Oil Spill Awareness
Manual Handling
Incident/Investigation
Handling of Dangerous Goods by road, sea and air
Microsoft Office applications
