HIRING NOW – Hire Yard Operations Technician
Location: Portsmith, Cairns
Rate: $************* p/h inclusive of allowances + 12% Super
Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time (38 hours per week)
Roster: 6am - 2.30pm About the Role: We are seeking a hands-on and reliable Yard Person to join our team, supporting the maintenance, repair, and preparation of modular buildings for hire.
Key Responsibilities: Complete repairs, maintenance & upgrades on our hire fleet including damaged wall panels, doors, windows, flooring, roofing, and fixtures.
Operate forklift to load/unload modules and equipment Inspect, clean & prep buildings so they're ready to go back out for hire Help coordinate deliveries, pickups, and yard movements Keep records up to date, accurate and support with stocktakes Handle customer handovers and queries What you'll Need:
