POSITION
We have a full time position for a Hotel Manager available in Holloways Beach, QLD ****
SKILLS
The role requires you to have at least a relevant AQF (or equivalent) Diploma or above and at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Alternatively, a minimum of three years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role as Hotel Manager is to manage the daily operations of all hotel departments autonomously, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
You will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel while the business owner manages multiple properties, overseeing guest services, staff performance, financial reporting, property presentation, and regulatory compliance.
You communicate effectively with ownership to report performance and drive continuous improvement, ensuring overall operational efficiency and profitability.
POSITION DUTIES
The position will require you to perform the following tasks;
Manage daily operations within each department of the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance, providing effective leadership and communication.
Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff to ensure capability and service quality.
Coordinate guest services, promptly resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
Oversee room reservations, occupancy levels,



and revenue optimisation
Manage payroll, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and cost control to ensure profitability
Manage inventory and arrange purchasing of housekeeping supplies, amenities, linen, and operational equipment.
Ensure the property is maintained and presented to a high standard by overseeing the upkeep of hotel facilities, grounds, and landscaped areas.
Monitor customer satisfaction, evaluate guest feedback, and implement initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience.
Provide guests with local tourism information and coordinate transport, tours, and other concierge services
Ensure compliance with all relevant workplace health and safety (WHS) and other applicable legislation and regulations.
Support the business owner with business planning, operational strategy and continuous improvements to the hotel.

SALARY
The salary offered will be $80,000 to $90,000 per annum, negotiated based on your experience.
