We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Certificate III-qualified educator who shares our commitment to child safety and high-quality early childhood education.
About the Role
As a Assistant Educator, you will work collaboratively with our educators, Room Leaders and Room Assistants and Nominated Supervisor to provide safe, responsive and meaningful learning experiences for children.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing warm, respectful and developmentally appropriate care and education.
Actively supervising children and maintaining a secure environment at all times.
Building positive and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Supporting children's learning, wellbeing, inclusion and sense of belonging.
Responding appropriately to children's individual needs, cues and behaviours.




Following the service's child-safe policies, Code of Conduct and professional boundaries.
Identifying and responding to child safety concerns in accordance with mandatory reporting and service requirements.
Contributing to educational programs, observations and documentation.
Supporting children's routines, including meals, rest, toileting and nappy changing, in a respectful and hygienic manner.
Maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of children and families.
Participating in professional development, staff meetings and child-safety training.
What We Are Looking For
The successful applicant will have:
A completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
A current and verified NSW Working with Children Check.
A strong understanding of child-safe practices, professional boundaries and active supervision.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
A genuine commitment to protecting children and upholding their safety, dignity, rights and best interests.
The ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families and colleagues.
A reliable, collaborative and flexible approach.
Previous experience working in an early childhood education and care service.
Current approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them before commencing.




Current child protection training and knowledge of mandatory reporting responsibilities.

Assessment of the applicant's understanding of child safety, professional boundaries and mandatory reporting.
Disclosure and review of any relevant disciplinary findings or child-safety concerns, where legally permitted.
Applicants must be willing and able to meet all legislative and regulatory requirements associated with working in an early childhood education and care service.
