Position Profile: In
collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager, the Staff
Development Nurse is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the
knowledge and skills of nursing staff in the Ambulatory Care
Service; the planning and implementation of specific education and
training programs and the provision of support for new staff,
including orientation and preceptorship.
The Ambulatory
Care Service encompasses a range of programs and services,
including the Day Treatment Unit, Connect Care, Haemodialysis Unit,
Hospital in the Home, and Remote Monitoring.
This position
requires a current valid drivers' license.
About Child and Adolescent Health Service
(CAHS): CAHS is Western Australia's primary
provider of paediatric healthcare, exclusively dedicated to
infants, children, and young people.
Comprising Perth Children's
Hospital (PCH), Neonatology, Community Health, and Child and
Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
CAHS operates with over
7,000 employees across PCH, King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH),
and over 160 community clinics in the metropolitan area.
