PEER, in collaboration with the Commonwealth and Australian
Governments, are excited to offer South Australian women an
outstanding prospect to step into a dynamic and rewarding career
pathway through a 12-month, paid Certificate III
traineeship - combining study, real-world experience, and
mentorship.

Through a mix of on-campus study at TAFE SA (Regency Park) and 3x
12 week practical work placements with leading employers in the
defence industry such as:BAE Systems, Babcock, Shadbolt, Axiom
Engineering, Century Engineering, Shoal Group, Acciona, Neomech,
Kennewell Engineering, RF Shop and more!
During your placements, you will have the opportunity to gain
experience in a variety of roles such as: Business Administration
(Human Resources (HR), Procurement, Reception, Contracts
Administration, Business Support, Data analytics etc), Engineering,
IT & Cyber, Warehousing, Supply Chain and Logistics, Advanced
Manufacturing, 3D Printing, CAD & Technical Drawing, Composite
manufacturing, Laser Cutting, Electronics and much more!
After you've completed the 36 weeks of work placement and study
at TAFE as well as the professional and personal development
opportunities provided through the program, you'll have the skills,
experience, and confidence to thrive in your new career!

Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must satisfactorily pass a National Police Clearance,
Baseline Security Check (must be an Australian
citizen) and medical checks including drug & alcohol
screening before a formal offer of employment is provided.
Eligibility criteria applies in relation to work rights.
As a trainee you will be paid in accordance with the National
Training Wage.
The Defence Industry Pathways Program has quickly built a
reputation of excellence.
Over 100 trainees have graduated over the
past three years in Western Australia, many of them having now
moved onto fulfilling full time roles within the defence industry.
