New Edge Painting & Decorating is seeking experienced Painter & Decorators to join our growing team.

We specialise in a wide range of projects, from project new builds to high end new builds & detailed re-paints, restorations, Residential or commercial with finishes that demand the highest level of precision.
The ideal candidates will bring both technical expertise and a strong work ethic, taking pride in delivering quality results every time.

What You'll Be Doing
Delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across residential and commercial projects
Completing new home builds, repaints, renovations, restorations, and detailed finishing work
Preparing surfaces to a high standard, including patching, sanding, filling, masking, and priming
Applying premium finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment where required




Completing detailed cutting-in and feature finishes with a strong focus on quality and presentation
Operating airless spray equipment for current home projects (highly desirable)
Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and project requirements
Working efficiently both independently and as part of a professional team
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment on every site
Communicating professionally with supervisors, builders, clients, and other trades
Taking ownership of your workmanship and ensuring projects are completed to New Edge Painting & Decorating's high standards
Supporting apprentices and less experienced team members where required
Requirements
Minimum 4 years' experience in painting & decorating with a proven track record of high-quality work.
Skilled in all aspects of painting: current builds, spray-outs, re-paints, and detail work
High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Must have own tools and reliable transport
Experience in Airless Spray Gun operation in New Homes (Very highly desired)
White Card (essential)
Working at Heights and High-Risk License are not essential but would be an advantage
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Must be able to interpret basic floor plans for project requirements
Team Leader or Supervisor Experience (highly Desired)
Professional, punctual, and motivated to grow with the company
Decorative finishes (desired)
Wallpapering experience (desired)
Police clearance (or willing to obtain)
Trade Qualified (desired)
Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident with valid work rights
