Veterinary Dermatology Specialists (VDS) have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, reliable and motivated professional to join our team as a Veterinary Nurse, in a full-time capacity.

About the Role
This diverse position combines nursing and client care responsibilities, supporting our dermatologists and ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient and client.
Nursing Responsibilities· Assist dermatologists in consultations and provide nursing support
· Perform intradermal allergy testing and bee/wasp venom testing
· Support procedures including video-otoendoscopic ear flushes, CO2 laser therapy, biopsies, and sample collection
· Deliver dermatological services such as light therapy, paw pad and nail care, and immunotherapy inductions
· Oversee in-hospital desensitisation programs
· Manage client communication and follow-up care
· Participate in satellite clinics, extending dermatological care to regional areas
· Maintain accurate client and veterinary records
· Liaise effectively with colleagues, referring veterinarians, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery
· Reception cover as required
About You
Success in this role relies on working collaboratively with veterinarians, nurses, receptionists, and support staff.




The successful candidate will be a positive team player who communicates pro-actively, supports colleagues, and contributes to a culture of mutual respect, continuous learning, and shared responsibility.
You will possess:
· Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and current WAVSB registration
· 4+ years of experience in general practice
· A genuine interest in the Fear Free® approach
· Be a quick learner who can multi-task
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Personal drive and ownership of your role, commitment to gold standard care and the ability to continue to learn and grow
· Computer literacy (training provided for EzyVet and related software)
