Based in Liverpool, the company is a well-known and trusted firm of Certified Practising Accountants.
Operating for over 30 years, they offer clients complete business, tax, and finance solutions.
As leaders in the adoption of technology, they utilise the latest cloud-based applications in supporting their clients.
They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their experienced, high-performing team.
The role would be ideal for someone that lives in the west or southwest of Sydney and is looking for a change, looking to expand their experience, or wants to avoid commuting to the CBD.
The Position...
This role will work closely with the Practice Manager and Principal, and will be required to manage client relationships effectively.
The company has a lean team structure with streamlined processes and minimal administration.
The key responsibilities of the position will be to:
Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries
Attend to all tax compliance matters
Provide business and group structure advice
Assist clients with bookkeeping and payroll matters




Assist with the preparation of complex tax advice
Work closely and collaboratively with other team members
The Ideal Candidate...
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Minimum of 6 years of current Public Practice experience
Ability to think laterally and problem-solve complex issues
Proven business, accounting, tax, and superannuation knowledge
Musthave solid knowledge in Xero (including payroll)
Confident in managing clients end-to-end
Comfortable with working full-time in the office
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
Works well with others
Strong work ethic
