About the Role - URGENT
We are currently seeking acompassionate, experienced, and reliable mature female Disability Support Workerto support a participant with high Intensity care and physical health needs.
This position involves providinghigh levels of individualised support in a person-centredenvironment.
It requires strong manual-handling skills and a trauma-informed approach.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to empowering participants while safeguarding their safety, dignity, and overall quality of life.
Applicants whosefirst language is Englishare preferred.
LOCATION
Dandenong and Clyde
Age: Female, 20 to 30 years old
Key Responsibilities
Assist withmobility support, including transfers,



repositioning, and movement around the home and community.
Providepersonal care assistancewhile ensuring dignity and comfort.
Monitor and respond toseizuresaccording to the participant's care plan.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the participant's daily quality of life.
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the relevant team members.
Requirements
Native English speakers preferred(as per participant preference)
Female candidates only(participant's personal preference)
Solid manual handlingand mobility support skills
Knowledge and implementation ofBehaviour Support Plansandrestrictive practices
High-levelempathy, patience, and compassion
First Aid and CPR (seizure management training is a plus)
