Continent Geotech Services – Thomastown VIC
Continent Geotech Services are currently seeking a Laboratory and Field Geotechnician , preferably but not essential with nuclear density gauge license to join us at our Thomastown facility.
This role is permanent contract for a suitable candidate for ongoing employment.
Previous experience in a similar role for 2-3 years is desirable.

Reporting to the our Laboratory Manager, the main responsibilities will involve undertaking field and laboratory testing for earthworks and geotechnical projects.

Willingness to learn
Minimum education level of Year 12 or Certificate III qualification
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Soil Sample Preparation
Testing - Compaction/Others
Manual Handling of Samples
Field Sampling and Testing
Pavement Investigations
Power Tools and Manual Work
Calculations and Data Analysis
Computer Data Entry
Work with Quality Manual and Relative Standards
Follow Safe Work Methods
Candidates will need to have a Construction Induction Card (White Card), a driver's license.
Valid Australian work visa or work rights are accepted for this position.
