As part of our team, you will report to the Restaurant Manager and Head Sommelier.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the organisation of our extensive wine cellar and providing guests with exceptional knowledge about both international and local wines, all while delivering excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Proven experience in a sommelier role, preferably in a hatted or Michelin starred establishment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Diverse international and local wine knowledge
Flexible availability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude
Excellent presentation
Ability to work under pressure
Valid Victorian RSA certificate
Completion of WSET Level 2 or higher, with a desire to complete further studies
Court of Sommeliers – Completion of Certified Sommelier qualification or higher

This is a full-time position that will require flexibility and weekend work, your shifts and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands.
