Remuneration:$90,000 - $105,000 per annum, plus work vehicle, and superannuation
About the Company
Farmcraft is a locally owned and operated family rural supplies business with 35 years' history serving Kalbar, Lowood, Boonah, Beenleigh and Coopers Plains in South East Queensland.
We're looking for a qualified agronomist to work across our Kalbar and Lowood stores, covering horticulture, fodder and pasture crops, with regular on-farm and in-store customer contact.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role.
You'll need to be comfortable talking with farm owners and family-run operations, building genuine relationships, and pitching in wherever needed — we run a flat structure with minimal hierarchy, and delivering product on-farm is part of the job, not beneath it.
Main Responsibilities

Provide agronomic advice on crop protection, nutrition and seed across vegetables (carrots,



onions, sweet corn, beans, pumpkins, brassicas, cucurbits), lucerne, pasture and fodder crops
Support in-store and on-farm sales, working with farm owners and corporate accounts
Build long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
Assist with forecasting, extension activities, grower
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
Bachelor of Agricultural Science or similar relevant qualification
Strong knowledge of crop protection, nutrition and production in horticulture and/or broadacre systems
Broad knowledge of fodder and pasture agronomy
Solid relationship-building and communication skills
Class C licence (Forklift licence and AgSafe accreditation highly regarded, or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
