About the role
Full time permanent position based in North Ryde, NSW.
Will be required to participate in an on-call roster and occasionally required to work outside of business hours.
Reporting directly to the Manager Helpline Services, you will be responsible for:
Providing leadership and support to the team to accomplish goals and objectives of the Helpline, and other programs and services
Managing day to day operations of the team, with a focus on meeting client needs and ensuring client satisfaction
Implementing administrative procedures to improve program efficiency, and coordinate rostering based on operational needs
Addressing and escalating system/process issues affecting operations
Documenting and reporting all aspects of service delivery, upholding professional knowledge and standards to ensure high-quality provision
Actively engaging in service evaluations, planning, development, and innovation
Leading members in the team to ensure high-standard performance, by conducting performance reviews and providing meaningful feedback regularly
Fostering positive relationships within the team, and across all national departments

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
A relevant qualification in a health-related field and/or significant experience working with clients in the delivery of community-based services
Experience in team leadership including mentoring and developing people in a positive and inclusive manner
Experience leading a team in a call centre environment or telephone-based service




Experience working with people living with dementia and their carers and families with an understanding of relevant Service Systems, including My Aged Care and the National Disability Insurance Scheme
Experience and competency using IT systems, data bases/CRM and developing processes for human service delivery
A high level or verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates inclusive behaviour, respectfully listens, values and acknowledges others
Ability to motivate and develop capability through mentorship, fostering continuous learning and improvement
