Our client is seeking experiencedTIG / MIG Weldersto join our team on an ongoingcasual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking for a great role in the Dandenong South area.
As a TIG / MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components and assemblies using both tungsten inert gas (TIG) and metal inert gas (MIG) welding techniques.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all work meets strict quality standards and project deadlines.
This role offers the flexibility of casual work while allowing you to utilise your technical welding skills in a professional environment.
Standard hours will be 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday
Key responsibilities
Perform TIG and MIG welding operations on various materials (Stainless & Mild steel) and components to specification
Interpret technical drawings and welding procedures to ensure accuracy and quality
Prepare work areas and materials, including cleaning and positioning components for welding
Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to verify they meet quality standards
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance checks
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and workplace procedures
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines and objectives
Document work completed and report any issues or defects identified
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a TIG / MIG welder in a commercial or industrial setting
2. Current relevant welding qualifications and certifications
Robust understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Reliable and professional attitude with strong time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to varying project requirements and work schedules
