Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who canstart immediatelyand enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment, managing end-to-end payroll and ensuring accuracy across all payroll-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly and monthly payroll for 350+ employees
Calculate termination payments and employee entitlements
Balance payroll-related general ledger accounts
Prepare and post payroll journals
Manage superannuation payments through the ATO
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Identify and contribute to payroll process improvements
Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and company policies




About You
Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and superannuation requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile payroll data accurately
Confident using payroll systems and Excel
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
