THE POSITION
We are currently seeking an experiencedProduction Managerto lead and manage our production operations and drive operational excellence within our manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the Executive Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for production, assembly & kitting processes, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and meet customer delivery requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead and manage production teams to achieve production schedules, DIFOT, productivity, quality and cost targets.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, including hazard identification, toolbox talks and corrective actions.
Manage labour planning, staffing and workforce development to ensure efficient use of resources.
Drive continuous improvement initiativesusing Lean principles to improve plant performance.
Monitor and manage operational KPIs to ensure production and quality targets are met.
Ensure compliance with companyquality,



safety and environmental standards including ISO and IATF requirements.
THE PERSON
You are a motivated and approachable leader who enjoys working with people and creating a positive team environment.
With a strong background in manufacturing operations, you bring the ability to lead teams, solve problems and drive improvements across production.
To be considered for this role, you would bring:
Minimum5 years' experiencein a production supervision or management role.
Robust understanding ofLean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Experience with ERP systems, production scheduling and work orders.
Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety practices.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Tertiary qualification in engineering, manufacturing or a related discipline (preferred)
Familiarity with heavy truck or trailer industry (preferred).
