Moondarra Cheese is a proud Australian cheese manufacturer, supplying major supermarket retailers and export markets from our Dandenong South facility.
We have grown significantly in recent years with the acquisition of Tarago Cheese, celebrated for its award-winning blue cheeses, expanding our footprint across the domestic market.
About the Role
We're seeking a Flavoured Cheese Supervisor to lead our AM shift at Dandenong South.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll supervise daily flavoured cheese production, working towards set production targets and supporting planning and scheduling for maximum efficiency.
You'll collaborate closely with QA, Logistics, Maintenance and the Cream Cheese team to maintain high production standards and keep downtime to a minimum.
This is an on-site role covering the AM shift, 6:30am-2:30pm.
What You'll Do
Supervise daily flavoured cheese production activities on shift in line with production plans
Monitor output against agreed targets using OFS and escalated issues as required
Coordinate shift activities to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency




Identify and resolve routine production issues, escalating complex matters to the Production Manager
Monitor machine performance and report maintenance requirements
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and Quality Policies on shift
Support the Quality Manager during audits and assist with quality incident investigations
Liaise with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure shift materials are available
Supervise, motivate and allocate tasks to production staff to meet shift targets
Support training, onboarding and competency of staff on shift
Maintain GMP and cleaning standards, and ensure a safe working workplace on shift
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturing
Proven team leadership experience/ability
Strong communication skills and English literacy
Machinery competency
Understanding of Quality Systems (HACCP, GMP)
Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety systems
Good computer skills and a continuous improvement mindset
