Requirements
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: No experience (will train)
Language: English
Citizenship: A Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
Licensure: Dental Hygienist licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
Security & Safety: Immunization records
Work setting: Dental practice

Responsibilities
Conduct initial dental assessments
Consult with dentists on patient care
Take dental impressions
Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease
Apply fluoride treatment
Remove stains and deposits from teeth
Take, develop and mount X-rays
