Network Security Engineer | Melbourne or Sydney | Up to $190,000 base salary + super & bonus

We're hiring a Network Security Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers across ANZ and SEA, acting as a trusted technical advisor on our security platform.
This is a highly customer-facing role, you'll be the face of the product for your accounts, not sitting behind a ticket queue.
What you'll do
Monitor, operate, and maintain customer environments — troubleshooting, upgrade planning, and knowledge transfer on key parts of the platform
Perform product customisations and consult customers on best practice, positioning yourself as their trusted advisor
Work in close integration with Sales, Delivery, Support, Customer Success, and R&D; teams




Act as the eyes and ears on the ground — monitoring shifts in customer technical landscape, org structure, and priorities, and feeding key insights back internally
Identify and escape revenue-driving adoption or expansion opportunities
What you'll bring
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within a software company
Exposure to Linux or Unix environments
Experience with networking devices (switches, routers)
Firewall administration and configuration experience (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar)
Experience working with cloud platforms and managing cloud security
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Comfortable operating under pressure in deadline-driven, business-critical situations
Experience working with global enterprise customers
Willingness to travel up to 25% for in office customer work across ANZ/SEA
