Role DescriptionWe need an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a diverse SME client portfolio.
You will handle complex tax matters and provide trusted advice using our fully cloud-based tech stack.
This position offers a direct path to leadership within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage compliance:Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and SMSF accounts.




Advise clients:Deliver strategic tax planning and business advice directly to SME owners.
Ensure accuracy:Navigate complex tax laws, including Division 7A, CGT, and trust structures.
Mentor staff:Guide junior accountants and review their compliance work.
Build relationships:Act as the primary point of contact for client queries.
What We Look For
Qualifications:Current CA or CPA registration is essential.
Experience:7 to 10 years in an Australian public practice setting.
SME expertise:Proven track record handling small-to-medium business clients.
Tax knowledge:Deep understanding of Australian tax compliance, legislation & tax structures.
Tech skills:Proficiency with Xero, MYOB
