Buildpoint Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team in Melbourne, VIC on a contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed architectural drawings and designs to support the successful delivery of our clients' construction projects.
What you'll be doing
Developing architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details to a high standard
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet all technical and regulatory requirements
Incorporating changes and updates to drawings based on feedback from stakeholders
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the design process
Adhering to project timelines and deadlines to deliver work on schedule
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson, preferably in a consultancy or construction environment
Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to produce high-quality architectural drawings, including 3D renders - YOU MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS




Demonstrated proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit software for comprehensive architectural drafting
Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret design specifications accurately
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Valid work visa or permanent residency status to work in Australia
