We are looking for a collaborative Senior Scientist to join our team of experimental and computational scientists.

What you'll do
Drive the development of technology that aligns with FL129's strategic objectives, influencing the scientific direction of the company.
Design and conduct experiments to create custom target and variant libraries, including binding assays for cell- or surface-displayed protein targets.
Enhance existing workflows and establish optimal experimental and documentation practices to ensure platform excellence.
Ensure timely and exact data turnaround to meet key project milestones.
Analyze experimental data and communicate insights during team meetings.
Requirements
Ph.D. in molecular biology, systems biology, chemical biology, or a related field,



with at least 5 years of industry or postdoctoral experience.
Comprehensive experience in small molecule screening, from library design to data analysis, including DNA tag optimization, quantification, and next-generation sequencing.
Proven ability to manage contract research organizations (CROs).
Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Nice to have
Familiarity with cheminformatics, hit validation with DNA-encoded libraries, surface display technologies, droplet-based screening, microfluidics, and single-cell or genomics methods.
Skills & tools
Expertise in molecular biology techniques, small molecule screening, and data analysis tools.
Proficiency in experimental design and execution, with a focus on innovative approaches to molecular biology challenges.
