Where you'll be working
Join the GambleAware Multicultural Service, a statewide specialist service based at Cumberland Hospital, North Parramatta.
As part of Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), you'll work within NSW's largest and Australia's oldest mental health facility while helping shape culturally responsive gambling support services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Current South Wales.
Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary clinicians and GambleAware Providers, you'll play a key leadership role in strengthening clinical capability, driving service excellence and improving outcomes for diverse communities.
You'll also be part of a health district recognised for innovation, collaboration and its commitment to the CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.

What you'll be doing
Design, deliver and evaluate clinical training and supervision programs across GambleAware services
Provide expert clinical supervision, mentoring and consultation to clinicians and counsellors
Lead initiatives that enhance culturally responsive, evidence-based clinical practice
Drive quality improvement, clinical standards and workforce capability across multicultural services
Partner with GambleAware Providers to strengthen service delivery and improve outcomes for CALD communities
Qualification: Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology.
Postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years-full time duration and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience
Registration: Membership with relevant professional body - theAustralian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as appropriate
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualifications in clinical psychology and current registration with the relevant professional body
Clinical experience working in mental health & addictions settings and working with clinicians and managers within diverse environments




Demonstrated experience in training and clinical supervision
Demonstrated experience, knowledge, understanding and commitment to patient safety, cultural safety, and quality management
Proven ability to initiate and plan change to drive quality outcomes in multidisciplinary environments.
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and liaison skills
Demonstrated experience in building rapport and establishing trust
Valid unrestricted NSW drivers licence
