What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, trade-level role where you'll be trusted to diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of vehicles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Vehicle Servicing & Repairs:Performing routine maintenance, major mechanical repairs, and complex diagnostics across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and 4WDs.
Driveline Specialisation:Working extensively with driveshafts, tailshaft balancing, CV joints, and power steering systems (training on our specific specialty work can be provided).
Diagnostic Problem-Solving:Using your technical expertise and workshop diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Quality Assurance:Ensuring all work meets our high standards of safety, reliability, and workmanship before vehicles are returned to customers.
Mentoring & Support:Providing guidance to workshop assistants and apprentices, helping to foster a collaborative and learning-focused team environment.
Customer Communication:Liaising directly with clients to explain technical issues, provide honest recommendations, and deliver exceptional service.
What We're Looking For
You are a qualified tradesperson who is reliable, self-motivated, and ready to hit the ground running.




To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Trade Qualifications:A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) and a current driver's licence (manual essential).
Proven Experience:Demonstrated post-trade experience in an automotive workshop workplace.
Strong Diagnostic Skills:The ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
A Team Attitude:Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workshop.
Commitment to Safety:A strong focus on workplace health and safety protocols.
