We are looking for reliable female Support Workers who can build strong relationships, follow support plans and provide consistent, high-quality care.
About the role
Casual shifts are currently available inReservoir and Tarneit, with opportunities for additional work across Melbourne.
Current supports include:
regular Monday and Wednesday after-school shifts in Reservoir
psychosocial and capacity-building support on Mondays and Fridays in Tarneit
future weekday, evening, weekend and relief shifts.
Duties may include:
school pick-up and transport;
supporting routines, transitions and community access;
emotional regulation and positive behaviour support;
psychosocial recovery and independent-living goals;
prompting with meals, hygiene, dressing and medication routines;
accurate and timely progress notes and communication with families and the Te Cepi team.
We are looking for someone who
is reliable, punctual and available for ongoing work;
remains calm and professional when participants are distressed;
can support autism, emotional dysregulation and psychosocial disability;
follows support plans and qualified boundaries;
communicates clearly and completes accurate progress notes;
is willing to support multiple participants and travel to different suburbs.
Essential requirements
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or a related field
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
CurrentEmployeeWorking with Children Check
First Aid and CPR
Australian driver license
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Australian working rights
Experience in autism, positive behaviour support, mental health or psychosocial disability is highly regarded.
What we offer
