About the Role
As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for new patients during their initial orthodontic consultation.
Your role is to ensure every patient understands their treatment options, feels confident in their decision, and enjoys an outstanding experience from their first visit through to the commencement of treatment.
You will work closely with our Specialist Orthodontists and clinical team to provide a seamless patient journey while contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and support new patients throughout the orthodontic consultation process.
Explain orthodontic treatment recommendations, procedures and expected outcomes in a clear, professional and caring manner.
Present treatment fees, payment plans and finance options.
Coordinate treatment acceptance and schedule appointments.
Maintain excellent communication with patients and families.
Follow up outstanding treatment plans and nurture prospective patients.
Assist with patient education and practice marketing initiatives.
Liaise with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience.




Monitor treatment conversion rates and contribute to practice growth.
Maintain accurate patient records within the practice management system.
About You
Previous experience in the orthodontic or dental industry (orthodontic experience highly regarded).
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
A warm, friendly and professional manner.
Confidence discussing treatment options and financial arrangements.
Strong sales, organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, Dental Treatment Coordinator or Senior Dental Receptionist.
Experience in face to face sales, in a professional services or healthcare setting.
Knowledge of orthodontic appliances and treatment processes (desirable but not essential)
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (desirable but not essential).
