The Role
We are seeking a
Personal Care Worker
who share our passion for person-centred care.
It is essential that you understand the residential aged care environment and the standards we uphold, and that you bringa high levelof empathy and compassion to every interaction.
Working
Full-Time,
youwill support residents with personal care, comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts in our 83-bed home, working closely with the Registered Nurses and reporting to the Manager.

What you will do
The Personal Care Workeris responsible forensuring:
Personal care is providedin accordance witheach resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
Social and recreational support such asassistingresidents' family andvisitors andassistingresidents attending activities.
Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts
Who are you and what will you bring?
Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
Currently hold and maintainan NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills
