BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
As a Major Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, retaining, and growing a portfolio of customer accounts.
You will act as the main point of contact for your customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their freight requirements are managed effectively.
The role involves monitoring service performance, resolving operational issues, conducting regular customer reviews, and identifying opportunities to improve services and grow existing accounts.
You will work closely with our Customer Service, Commercial, and Sales teams, as well as transport carriers and suppliers, to deliver positive outcomes for customers.
Regular customer engagement will be an important part of the role, including phone calls, online meetings, business reviews,



and regular site visits.

Experience managing customer accounts within freight, logistics, or a service-based business.
Confidence building strong relationships and working with customers at all levels.
The ability to manage service issues, identify opportunities, and deliver practical solutions.
A solid understanding of commercial outcomes, pricing, and account growth.
Clear communication skills and a professional approach.
The ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow through.
A proactive mindset with a focus on improving service and customer outcomes.
Confidence working across Customer Service, Operations, Sales, and carriers.
