Job Description
An industry-leading national occupational rehabilitation provider is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team on a casual basis.
Based out of the Morwell branch and supporting the South East VIC region, this role operates within a private corporate health setting as part of a global healthcare network.
The position is designed to support individuals living with illness or injury by providing tailored return-to-work services, counseling, and injury prevention.
With a flexible hybrid model that allows for working from home and adaptable hours, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own day while making a meaningful impact on the lives of their clients starting in mid-****.
In this diverse role, the practitioner will focus on assisting injured or ill workers to regain functional capacity and independence with their activities of daily living (ADLs) within the home and community.
The daily responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive ADL assessments, recommending home modifications or specialized equipment, and collaborating closely with medical professionals, employers, and insurers to align rehabilitation goals.

The role requires the preparation of high-quality clinical reports and the education of clients on adaptive strategies and energy conservation.

To be successful in this application, candidates must hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and maintain full professional registration with AHPRA.
While previous experience in the occupational rehabilitation industry is highly regarded, the provider values professionals with exceptional communication skills, empathy, and strong time management abilities.
A current driver's license and access to a personal vehicle with comprehensive insurance are essential.
