As an integral part of our Maintenance crew at our Primary manufacturing plant based in Keysborough, you will provide operational support, perform planned preventative maintenance and troubleshooting that improves safety, reliability and functionality of the plant.
A typical shift will see you:
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machineryas allocated
Fault-find and repair mechanical issues across automated equipment including Laser and Brake Press, Robotics, CNC driven machinery
Support operations teams to maintain uptime and reliability
Assist with breakdown response and corrective maintenance when required
Pro-actively contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives
Production maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests
Induction and training will commence on day shift for 2-4 weeks before transitioning to afternoon shift.
What will get you to the next stage:
Australian recognised Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter) or related discipline
Demonstrated working background as Maintenance Fitter in fast paced manufacturing environment (Heavy Industrial/ Steel fabrication or Automotive)
All in the attitude – open to learning and being a contributing team member
Experience in Fault finding on hydraulic,
pneumatic and mechanical systems
Current and Valid Driver's Licenses and Scissor lift or boom license
Working experience in Welding and minor steel fabrication (MIG/TIG and/or ARC)
Experience in lean manufacturing is beneficial, particularly problem-solving methodologies.
Computer literate & ability to navigate your way around our preventative maintenance program, MEX
Demonstrated commitment and understanding of OHS practices
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
Experience with a CMMS would be an advantage (Mex preferred)
Nice to have:
Confined Space and Working at Heights Ticket
Current and Valid LF Forklift license
E-coat and Powder coat paint systems experience
Laser and Press brake knowledge (LVD & Trumpf),
Motorman and ABB Robotics experience
First Aid Certificate would be advantageous or ability toacquire.
