About the Role
As a 1st Year Apprentice, you'll work closely with our experienced technicians to develop the skills required to become a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician.
You'll learn how to:
Service and maintain heavy vehicles
Carry out repairs under supervision
Assist with diagnostics and fault finding
Complete preventative maintenance
Use workshop equipment safely and correctly
Maintain a clean and organised workspace




Follow safe work practices
Deliver quality workmanship
Every day is different, giving you exposure to a broad range of vehicles and repair work.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in heavy vehicles and the automotive industry
Is reliable, motivated and eager to learn
Enjoys working in a team environment
Has a positive attitude and solid work ethic
Takes pride in their work
Holds a current'driver's licence (preferred)
Is committed to completing a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
No previous experience is required - just the right attitude.
