Plasticut is a family-owned plastic engineering business seeking a motivated full time CNC Router Operator to join our team.

This position is 38-hours, 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5:30pm

What you'll be doing
Operating our two CNC routers to manufacture precision plastic components
Operating our CO₂ Acrylic laser cutting machine
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work orders
Working with engineering plastics including Acrylic, Polycarbonate, HDPE, Acetal, Nylon, etc
Preparing and finishing parts/components including deburring, radiusing, chamfering and polishing
Operate our panel saws to do cut to size panels as well as preparing materials and trimming offcuts.




Assisting with fabrication jobs when an extra pair of hands are required
Preparing and packaging customers orders and assisting with collection
Maintaining a clean, organized and secure workspace
Multitasking and ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time

About you

We're looking for someone who possesses these essential skills
Certificate III in Engineering preferred (Certificate II accepted) or trade experience.
Has experience running CNC routers. (Multicam / toolpath)
MUST be proficient using AutoCAD
Must be confident operating a panel saw
Holds a forklift license
Can read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
Has excellent attention to detail
Must have excellent verbal and written English skills
Knowledge of engineering plastics
