About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth within our Grounds Services Division, Programmed Property Services is seeking an experiencedTurf Curatorto join our team based inMelbourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated turf professional to work across a range of sporting facilities, delivering high-quality turf renovation and maintenance services.
You will play a key role in ensuring playing surfaces are presented to the highest standards while contributing to a strong safety-first culture.
This is afull-time permanent positionwith opportunities for overtime and seasonal project work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform sports turf renovation and maintenance activities across a variety of sporting grounds
Operate specialised turf renovation and maintenance equipment
Undertake aeration, scarifying, topdressing, overseeding and turf establishment works
Monitor turf health and contribute to seasonal turf management programs
Maintain irrigation systems and assist with surface preparation works
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and client requirements
Maintain a high standard of presentation across all project sites
Build positive working relationships with clients and team members
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for turf management, strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
You will also possess:
Previous experience in sports turf renovation and maintenance
Demonstrated experience operating sports field renovation equipment
A strong understanding of turf management practices and techniques
Sound knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
Flexibility to work varied hours during seasonal peak periods
Ability to travel and stay away from home on a rotational basis when required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current Driver's Licence (essential)
MR or HR Truck Licence (highly regarded)
Certificate III or higher in Turf Management (desirable)
