Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an opportunity for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Wagga Branch.
Any qualified light vehicle or plant mechanics looking for a change are also encouraged to apply!
Wagga Trucks can assist you to transfer your skills to a heavy vehicle qualification with as little as only 45 days of TAFE to complete.
Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Identify and rectify mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
Maintain accurate service records and job cards
Comply with all workshop safety standards and procedures
Liaise with other team members and departments as needed
Requirements:
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
Experience working on a range of heavy trucks
Solid diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
A commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
