Bagga's Pharmacy Newcastle is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge to lead our busy community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while leading a professional and supportive team.

About the Role

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and compliance with all qualified and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the pharmacy team in delivering outstanding customer service.
Provide professional dispensing and medication management services.
Maintain compliance with all pharmacy legislation, professional standards and quality systems.
Deliver patient counselling and medication reviews.
Oversee inventory management and dispensary operations.
Support and expand professional pharmacy services.

Essential Requirements
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.




Eligibility to work in Australia.
Certificate in Non-Sterile Compounding (essential).
Solid leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to patient-centred care and professional excellence.

Desirable Skills
Experience using Webstercare medication packing software.
Ability to provide or willingness to develop Extended Scope of Practice services.
Experience in community pharmacy leadership.
Vaccination accreditation and other professional service qualifications will be highly regarded.
